Established to consolidate the international operations of Samherji hf., one of Iceland’s largest fishing conglomerates, Alda brings together harvesting, processing, logistics and distribution under a single holding structure spanning eight countries.

Alda Seafood Holding was established to consolidate the international operations of Samherji hf., one of Iceland’s largest and most established fishing conglomerates, founded in Akureyri in 1983. Alda represents the next chapter in that legacy — a modern, globally integrated seafood business built on decades of maritime expertise.
